Saturday means family morning at the gym....I always enjoy doing a wod with Andy because it is so much more motivating...he motivates me...he amazes me with how strong he is and how awesome his balance is!
WOD:
5 wall climbs ( i don't go all the way up with my body hugging the wall...i go about 3/4 of the way and stop)
20 single leg squats (alternating legs-i sat on a box as my starting point instead of going all the way down to the ground like Andy can do (without hanging on to anything!!!))
5 WC
20 SLS
5 WC
15 SLS
5 WC
12 SLS
Ok, just checked my watch to get my finish time and it is gone!!! AGAIN!!!
Ok, from now on i'm writing it down somewhere...i think i finished in just under 12 minutes.
Pretty great wod! it is great to do something new and different...hopefully i'll be sore in strange places tomorrow! LOL

how is your diet going?...what are you improving on?...what do you need to work on?...
I gained 1.8 pounds this week...all i can say is it better be 1.8 lbs of muscle!!! so lame...i'm going to be even more strict with my diet this week...no nutella, little peanut butter, no juice or fruit twists or frozen fruit bars....
love you,
sidra
i had never hear of single leg squats before either....i googled it. are the same as piston squats, right? well if you haven't already, check out that vid i posted on facebook about the guy doing those pistol squats....holy crap his thighs are HUMUNGO! crazy how strong and balanced and coordinated he is. so anyway, i did really crappy to say the least on my diet last week when the kids were sick. i was having a pity party and not going to workout made me reason, what the heck, ill just eat what i want and start again next week. bad idea, wrong attitude and just plain dumb to have a mindset like for a whole week. oh well, i feel i learned a really good lesson from it all to just try hard each minute of each day and enjoy each of the moments as well.
