I did a modified HERO wod today!
It went like this:
AMRAP 20:
6 squats holding a 14 lb medicine ball
7 jumping pullups
10 (25 lb) kettlebell swings
run 200 meters (was suppose to be 400 but the first time i ran 400 my sides starting hurting so i knew i had to modify it for the rest of the rounds to be able to get through the running part. i really don't like running because i almost always get a side cramp)
I completed 8 rounds and then i finished all but the running in the 9th round (not complaining that i didn't have to do the last round of running- my time was up!!! )
Felt great! I've really needed my wods this week. it has been an especially difficult week...many trial and stressors...thank goodness it's almost over!

i just realized that i ran 2 miles today!!!! wow...well, more like jogged...but still!
