...the one i should have thought thru....

Today was one of those wods on the crossfit main site that is named after a girl...anyway...i did it minus the running...you know i hate running!...so here was my wod:

5 rounds of:

30 wall balls (6.6lb)
30 box jumps (started on the 20 inch but i had to go down to the lowest one for 4 of the rounds)

i did the medicine ball squat cleans yesterday which is almost the same thing as the wall balls today...they both include squatting....squatting two days in a row...didn't think it thru....so the box jumps were rough today because my legs were done!....LOL...

owell...so i finished in just under 20 minutes...it was very hard!

food diary:

orange slices

protein shake

2 eggs and glass of milk

meal replacement shake

salad and leftover stroganoff

don't remember if i had a snack after that....
i know i had 3 pieces of chocolate! naughty!

dinner was at the ward potluck...had a little bit of this and a little bit of that and tried a few different desserts...the only thing i really ate any of was my favorite (rice crispie treats)mmmm.

  1. you are so funny! those "girl" wods are killers!! my legs would have been jello too! good thing you didn't have another shin incident! :) and i have come to the conclusion that we shouldn't deny ourselves the things that bring us joy (like rice kripsy treats!) life is short and we are working our butts off crossfitting so we can have that little extra.... :)

  2. ok i hate running too but the owner of our box (who picks our wods) LOVES running so we seem to do a lot of it! lucky me right!? lol
