....the one with "almost" real pullups....

Here was today's wod:
Tabata-
pullups
pushups
situps
airsquats
My total score was 178. Not bad and pretty sure I had almost 200 but I lost count while doing the pushups....oh well. I worked out hard and that's what matters to me most right now. lol! I did try to do assisted pullups with a band for the first time today! YAY me! I used a black band (which is the tightest thus the most help) and for the last couple rounds my trainer added a blue band for a little extra help! But I did about 15 during the 8 tabata rounds so it felt great to be over with the real people! lol :)
Anyways, diet was pretty good today. I have decided that I am not going to do the whole30 diet right now. I am going to work on doing as close to paleo as I can, but mostly just what you have been doing and cut out sugar and flour.
Breakfast-Special K/banana
Lunch-Greek Chicken Salad
Dinner-cheesestick and 2 applesauce cups (I know weird, but I was at work so I was just snacking!) hehehehe
It doesn't look like I ate much looking back, but I wasn't terribly hungry today. That's one nice thing about being at the end of my period, my appetite decreases and I don't have near as many cravings. I ate like total crap last week! It's so weird that we are on the same cycle....that's a little Twilight Zone weird.... LOL :)
Anyways, I got your awesome letter in the mail late in the day! What a nice suprise! So sweet of you to send me a sample of Roma....can't wait to try it. I'll let you know.... Thanks for the beautiful card and sweet, uplifting words. I too am so glad we are "back together"! I love ya! Thanks again! Have a great Tues!

  1. that is funny that we're on the same cycle!!! LOL....must be all the contact we've been having! LOL....so glad you got the card and roma....awesome wod! i would love to try the pull ups with the band but i don't think they have those at my gym...so i use the pull up machine that assists you....i like it a lot...as far as the diet goes, just try to cut out some of the junk or decrease it and increase more fruit and veg and try to switch to whole grains and brown food instead of white...breads, rice, etc....and portion size is sooooo huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! try to eat until you feel about 80% full...it is so liberating! so glad to be done with my period so i can feel like doing some awesome wods!! miss ya tons! love ya!
